Last Saturday (May 3rd), the Republican Lincoln Day Ball was held at the Crowne Plaza in Ramapo. The event, hosted by Chairman Vincent Reda, had no empty seats in the house and was deemed a rousing success by those who attended. Richard Brega was honored as the 2014 Business Leader of the year.

It was attended by our County Executive Ed Day, who gave a great speech and introduction for Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino. Rob wowed the crowd and showed us why he should be the next Governor of New York State.

We were also honored to have in attendance:

County Legislators Christopher Carey, Douglas Jobson, and Frank Sparaco

Hometown Mayor Jeff Oppenheim (Montebello)

Chris Day, Candidate for US Congress

Assembly District 98 Candidates Karl Brabenec, Dan Castricone and Mike Morgillo

Lon Hofstein, Candidate for County Legislative District 5

A whole host of elected officials and former elected officials

All the Republican Town Chairpersons

Business leaders from throughout Rockland

And many more friends and family (too many to mention)

It was great to see such a unified party with a deep bench of talent, with the common goal for victories in not only this years races, but in future races to come.
